Kathy,
My association with you and the help you have given me has been great. I’m sure other people who are facing retirement or involuntary re-careering, as seems to be the trend in American business lately would benefit as well as I did through your professional guidance.
Since my mandatory retirement from Delta Air Lines two years ago life has been very confusing. First off all the acceptance of and denial of retirement has been a constant source of emotional conflict. I have too much ambition and youthful spirit to accept this as part of my life. As I told my friends, if I could just feel old, maybe I could accept this. However this option being totally unacceptable, I knew I needed to manage my life with a whole new set of rules.
So I looked at all of the great experiences I have had in my life, all of the things that I knew how to do, all of the things that I loved to do, all of the things I wanted to try and also those I dreamed of. And guess what, the stress and anxiety got worse. It took a lot of contemplation and rethinking to even discover why this was so stressful for me. I had all of the time I needed to pursue the things I enjoyed and wanted to spend more time with. I produced a lot of photos, wood products, poetry, invented and refined for market a unique energy bar, helped my friend in her flower shop, ran, kayaked climbed and….fell! Fell from life. Why, because I did not listen to the advice I have given others. Open your eyes, always look up, plan your course carefully and climb in small, well-calculated moves using all of your faculties.
So I decided I needed professional guidance with this journey and fortunately, I met you. You quickly helped me decide where the focus of my life should be. In a few sessions it became very clear what my second or third, if you count my engineering job prior to aviation, should be. Focusing on becoming certified as a personal trainer will satisfy my desire to do many things that are important to me: teaching, guiding, mentoring and inspiring people to do the single most important thing they can do to increase the quality or their life – take control of their health and well being. I have laid out a time schedule with weekly accomplishments to put this goal in a realistic, goal-oriented endeavor. Not only will it ensure my timely accomplishment of this goal, but it will relieve me of the guilt that I feel every time I work on one of my myriad other interests.
In summary, establishing my career as a personal trainer will give me the central focus, the hub of the wheel so to speak for all of the interests I have in my life to rotate around. Getting to this point would not have happened Kathy without your help. You have a great ability to guide, listen and realign the conversation when it gets off track. You are an extremely skilled and effective life coach and I would highly recommend you to anyone needing your services. Please feel free to use this letter to you in any way you choose as an endorsement of your skill and sincerity in helping others to accomplish their goals and dreams in life.
Sincerely, Bob Rose
“Kathy’s coaching helped me tremendously when I felt “stuck” in my life. We all THINK we know what we want for our lives but Kathy taught me how to FEEL IT, then ACT on it, then CREATE it…AND I AM NOW LIVING THE LIFE I WANTED…
When I look back now, it is almost eerie the way everything fell into place…I laughingly think of Kathy’s coaching as the “recipe for success”, you know how when you make a special dinner and don’t follow a recipe and your result can be “not so good”, but when you make the effort to follow ALL of the directions, it comes out “wonderfully”. Surprise…surprise…” Thanks Kath.

“With your coaching, I have resolved, dissolved, reformed, boldly gone, shared love, experienced deeper intimacy, learned to ask for what I need, learned to give others what they need-even if they don’t ask for it. Life is now in the flow, not judged and I can SEE-really see…”
